Here is a bit more about my journey...
My journey started a decade ago...
I started my path 14 years ago, with meditation and following intensive retreats in monasteries all over the world. These experiences have dramatically transformed the way I see the world and myself and have been the start of igniting my inner wisdom and universe secrets.
With my international background in global economics and innovation, I previously worked for several social enterprises in the field of health care, entrepreneurship, microfinance and empowerment - in Portugal, Sao Tomé e Principe (West-Africa) and Belgium.
During these earlier times I was feeling lost in thoughts, uninspired by feelings, doubtful of myself and somehow a slave of what I "thought" I should do, feel like and think. I became disconnected from my intuition, feelings and body.
I decided to go on an inner research journey
After years of retreating in all parts of the world, I began educating myself in
Over the past years I have trained over +3000 persons into the secrets of the mind, body & brain but I always consider myself as a lifelong student on the path... I believe growth is limitless - I'm a big fan of expansion and opening possibilities.
A good guide shows you where to look, but doesn't tell you what to see....
I believe this is the starting point of any training or coaching. Igniting the wisdom and gift of every person inside, not being afraid of pointing towards shadows and allowing the field to open so the transformation can come from inside.
The guides who combined radical honesty and allowing it be, have impacted my life and inspired me the most.
Today I am super grateful for the compassionate - and at times confronting - guides on my path -
Dr. Mark Williams - University of Oxford (UK), Christina Feldman & John Peacock - Insight Meditation Society (US), Dr. Chris Germer - Harvard Medical School (US), Dr. Kristin Neff - Center for Mindful Self-Compassion (US), Dr. David Dewulf - I AM (BE), Bhagsu Yoga Institute (India), Benjamin Ball, Pete and Tuulia, Landmark, radical honesty community as well as monks in various monasteries across Europe and Asia - and as all the life experiences on my path.
There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution. It's got to happen inside first.
My professional and personal experience made me a strong believer in Jim Morisson's saying... "The most important kind of freedom is to be who you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on an individual level. It's got to happen inside first."
If we want to revolutionize how our systems work, make effective decisions and guide communities, companies and health care systems towards a new world, we first need to learn how to put off our masks, use our feelings and intuitions for the better and establish honest and authentic relationshiops.
Your unique spirit is essential for innovation and growth as an individual, an organization, in a relationship, in your family or at work. Dare to be you.
